SEATTLE, Wash. - Jul. 15, 2006 - Cougar Mountain Baking Co., a Seattle-based Gourmet Cookie Company is pleased to announce that they have developed a line of Breakfast Cookies that will be introduced on select Alaska Airlines flights.

"Alaska Airlines was looking for something better to feed their morning-time passengers and after coming to us with their needs, we developed a new line of "breakfast cookies" just for them", remarked company president David Saulnier.   Debuting in July, September, and October of 2006 respectively, the Blueberries & Oats, Bananas & Oats, and Apples & Oats varieties are sure to strike a chord with Alaska's passengers and employees alike.

According to Cougar Mountain, the Blueberries & Oats variety will be a lightly textured, cakey cookie with pleasant berry flavors that isn't too rich or dense.  Bananas & Oats is a chewy, oatey cookie with plenty of sweet banana flavor, accentuated by just the right amount of nutmeg.

Apples & Oats is a lightly textured cookie with large chunks of green apple and mounds of oats & cinnamon.

  "We hope people will enjoy them as a quick 'breakfast on the go', or anytime of day that seems appropriate" says Saulnier, as he munches on an early morning Blueberry & Oats cookie.

CMBC promises that these cookies will not only be available on Alaska Airlines but also as an occasional Flavor of the Month at grocery stores, and at their online store, year-round.
